General (systemic) signs and symptoms are commonly present and include weakness, fever and malaise. Other symptoms, usually caused by insufficient tissue perfusion (ischemia) are variable depending on organs and tissues involved.

Hemorrhagic symptoms (caused by reduced number of circulating platelets)

gastroententeric bleeding
 
hematuria
